Description A smaller Agave hybrid between Agave attenuata and Agave ocahui. ‘Blue Glow’ sports blue green leaves with a superb red edging that only looks better when highlighted by backlighting the plant in afternoon sun, stunning! The margins are spineless but this Agave does not come unarmed, there is a terminal spine at the end of each leaf. ‘Blue Glow’ is a slow grower and keeps to its self with a solitary growth habit making it a great selection for smaller spaces in the garden as well as container plantings. Blue Glow Agave reaches just 2’ tall with a 3’ spread at maturity. This Agave should not be confused with another Agave we carry, ‘Blue Flame’. Blue Flame Agave is a much bigger plant with a clumping habit and grows way faster! Hardiness: USDA Zones
