Anigozanthos x
'Tequila Sunrise'
Orange Kangaroo Paw

Anigozanthos x 'Tequila Sunrise' - Orange Kangaroo Paw

Description

With a name like Tequila Sunrise this plant has got to be good, well as long as no worms are involved. But it does bring back memories of lounging on the beach, getting a nice tan, drink in hand....oh yes, back to the plant! Anigozanthos x 'Tequila Sunrise' has orange or salmon colored flowers ontop of 5-6 foot flower spikes. Kangaroo Paws are native to Western Australia and are often found in areas that are frequently affected by wildfires. Generally the taller the plant the tougher the plant, as many dwarfs are seen to be not as tolerant of extreme conditions. Kangaroo Paws are named as such because the flower resembles the fuzzy paw of the Kangaroo.
