Capsicum annuum 'Calico' is an Ornamental Pepper that puts on a show with more than just it’s fruit which is a showy shiney black. The foliage is the real show stopper here, named Calico like a cat for the three colors it has, purple, white and green. This Ornamental Pepper will grow 10-12” high with a 14-16” spread. Don’t let the delicate foliage fool you, the fruit is extremely hot and not recommended as a garden snack! Use this pepper in mixed containers to jazz up any mix! Calico also works great in the landscape to brighten up dull areas or next to darker foliage plants.
