Description

With a name like Medusa you might think this Pepper could be scary! Well there is nothing scary about it. Capsicum annuum 'Medusa' is small in size, about 30% smaller than Chilly Chili, so it works well in small places. Medusa will reach 6-8” tall and grow up to 4-6” wide. Also like Chilly Chili the fruit is not hot at all, it is just there for looks, we have tasted them ourselves, a bell pepper has more spice! The fruit is the show on this Ornamental Pepper, also where it gets it name Medusa. The fruit will reach 2-3 inches long and has a thin twisted shape. Each plant can have 40-50 fruit at a time with up to 4 colors on one plant as the fruit starts an ivory color and fade from yellow to orange to bright red. Fruit holds well, great in mixed containers especially for fall decorations.
