Description

Caryopteris x clandonensis ‘First Choice’ P.P. 11,958 is a compact PlantHaven variety that was bred by Peter Catt of Liss Forest Nursery in the U.K. Not only is this cultivar smaller but it also blooms more profusely than the species and has shorter internodes so it packs a big punch in a small package. First Choice will grow to 30-36” tall with a 36” spread when mature. First Choice bloom earlier than other cultivars and the blooms are a fabulous rich liliac blue color. Blue Mist Spirea is a great choice in the landscape as part of a mixed perennial border or in larger mixed containers. Drought tolerant once established.
