Description

Clerodendrum incisum 'Macrosiphon' is an interesting flowering tropical shrub that has white flowers that resemble musical notes when in bud. The flowers are born in sprays and will open to reveal showy red stamens. Grows best in a moist rich soil and should receive some shade during the afternoon to prevent burn. Musical Notes is not cold hardy so it should be protected from freezing temperatures in the winter months. Also this shrub will go dormant in the winter months, so don’t worry if it goes bald, it is just sleeping! At maturity Musical Notes can reach 3’ tall with an equal spread.
